ah, yes, I've been thinking about that all day, in an attempt to make my thoughts come out coherently and all I've got is "it  was interesting" "I knew it sounded familiar". Which is all well and good but I thought I'd share what I was going through during the actual "forgetting names" part....

Normally, when forgetting, I have a process where I place things in a part of my mind that I picture to be very dark. Memories are still pretty vivid, with color and such, so I turn my back and ignore them until I can feel them fade, though there are fragments that remain that, if I try REALLY hard, I can put back together (like a puzzle) which my brain then works to fill in the gaps...but where's the fun in that (right)!??.....However, this time the forgetting part was temporary, which I don't believe I've ever done before with you, so as I'm picturing everything I remembered one of the first times you told me to forget something (I won't go too deeply into it since you'll recognize the technique, so just a quick reminder) you told me to picture a box, a very nice, very detailed box, and put my memories in there, knowing that, should I need them, they would be safe. So I took the names, put each in its own box and closed the lid and turned my back....but this didn't work...I knew that the information was VERY important so it wouldn't stay quiet (even temporarily). In a pinch, I pictured a wall being me, for some reason it was made of wood, strong wood but still wood (why not steel, titanium, heck, vibranium  or adamantium but NO, WOOD?) and that did the trick...at least for the remainder of the time. Near the end, I could feel the information wanting to break down the wall, it WANTED to be remembered; I pictured myself holding the wall up behind me, and when I knew I could remember my name first, I pictured lowering one arm which let a little opening in the wall open and my name came out....after a while I did the same with Sleepygirl's and then I let the wall crumble....

OH, and for a hot minute there, I really did think my name was Ivy

hat was the other possibility that I thought could occur, you instead of saying "i don't know" or "i don't remember" simply pulling a nickname or a screen name and using that.

You were right, I did want to do that....hey, so I have a small confession to make....I already knew Sleepy Girl's name was Sleepygirl, which I think contributed to having a tough time forgetting it

that's fine, making a person forget their name is something i've never done before (never saw the point) and you are HIGHLY analytical so I wasn't sure if it would work on you anyways =cP

True, my brain does like to think, but I know I can also think emotionally...I'm a weird paradox (implying paradoxes are normal??? *shrug*).

How did you feel during the stealth induction that I was doing, did you realize I was hypnotizing both of you?

Honestly, not until I was deeper in; I was picturing both of us facing each other, each sitting on large lounge-style chairs with high armrests, several feel apart but still able to see each other's features...and it didn't occur to me I was also dropping until...around the 3rd time you said we were observing each other...then this little light came on and I thought...."drat, that was sneaky"....and then I went head first into it

hm, good question....yeah, the realization, I knew SOMETHING had to happen since I had chosen the Subject role, but it all felt normal, then that happened and the realization help push me into it

Just a bit of an insecure question, there was a point, can't really recall which part, though, where I thought I was giving wordy responses, did I respond ok?

so last night was very...interesting, in hindsight :cP not only because you spent over an hour confusing the fuck out of me just to forget my name, but because I honestly didn't know whether I was coming or going at that point. I think I was already out of it from going under so much that evening in general, but I remember honestly not even realizing what was happening because I was so focused on what I thought was you just trying to hypnotize Ivy, I had no idea it was happening to me too. and I think the whole connection part made it hit harder (which im sure was the point obviously :cP) but once you threw forgetting each others names into the mix and started using the word parter excessively it became kind of hard to keep up with, and I don't think my brain ever made the connection that the 'partner's partner' was actually me so it was basically like I was...well, more oblivious
so then I don't even think I realized I was hypnotized, period, until you let us remember our names again and everything that happened. and even then I don't know if I fully made the connection last night :cP
so yeah all in all it was very interesting and odd (in a good way), especially since there was another person involved :cP
